Lava Buckets are vanilla items, but they have many uses in Tekkit.
Recipe

Once you have a bucket, right click a lava source block. Your bucket will become a lava bucket and the lava source block will disappear.
Another way to craft lava is with the Volcanite Amulet.
UsageEdit
Lava buckets can be transferred through Pipes or Pneumatic Tubes and used to power Geothermal Generators. They can also be used in crafting to create Iron Bands and Lava Cells. If a source of lava is available, buckets can also be filled to create EMC, as a lava bucket has 832 EMC and an empty bucket has only 768 EMC.
